Did Hilary Buy Her Star?

Two time Oscar-winner Hilary Swank received the 2325th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today in Los Angeles.

Much like the 2324 celebrities preceeding her, Hilary forked over $15 000 to the Hollywood Historic Trust in exchange for a star and - more importantly - extra publicity for the current movie she's pimping -- in Hilary's case, 'Freedom Fighters.'

Like a well-trained bird, Hilary broke into the whole I-grew-up-in-a-car-with-my-mom sermon during her tear-filled thank you speech.
