Frenchies Attacks Crowe

Russell Crowe has been attacked by the French media over his latest film.

A Good Year is a romantic comedy telling the story of an Englishman who lives in France. As well as the media scrutiny it has received in the US, Crowe and director Ridley Scott now have to contend with accusations of racial misconceptions from the French press.

"Everyone knows the French are grumpy and dirty, wear espadrilles and drive Renault 4s," mocked Le Parisien, claiming the film was guilty of horrendous stereotyping.

Another review, from Liberation, commented: "Appalling from start to finish, A Good Year collapses under cliches of an ochre Luberon made for a loaded Anglo-Saxon elite."

The film is said to have lost around £20 million on its release in America.

Yep.... the French got their revenge since this movie was an all time floppy-do.
