KEVIN FEDERLINE has found an unlikely fan in the form of camp film icon JOHN WATERS.

BRITNEY SPEARS' much maligned ex is the self proclaimed 'most hated man in America' - but he has at least one friend in the HAIRSPRAY director, who even owns a copy of his album PLAYING WITH FIRE.
Waters says, “You don’t see him out there getting out of limousines and flashing his shaved crotch. He’s been the gentleman since they split up." His loyalty to the aspiring rapper landed him in hot water with his assistant however, after she refused to buy a copy of the album for the director.

He adds, “She was so mad, she almost quit.

“She kept saying ‘I’m not doing it. Please don’t make me buy it.’ But she finally did. I consider it a prized possession; I haven’t even taken it out of the wrapper.”
