Please Be 'Open and Fair' - Diana's Sons

Princes William and Harry today asked for an “open and fair” inquest into their mother’s death.

The dramatic intervention came at a court hearing to establish how the UK inquest into the 1997 Paris car crash should be held.

In a letter read to the court, Princess Diana’s sons expressed “their desire that the inquest should not only be open, fair and transparent but move swiftly to a conclusion”.

The princes indicated that they would not be making any further comment and that they would make no representation at the hearing.
