Scissor Sister And Coldplay And Global Warming

Scissor Sisters and Coldplay have stepped up the fight against global warming by lending their support to a new scheme which allows people to buy carbon credits.

The scheme, which is also being backed by actor Leonardo DiCaprio, plans to use the money raised to invest in alternative energy resources and raise awareness.

Global Cool Foundation is the brainchild of music promoter Dan Morrell, who
claims: "Global Cool is about buying time and allowing new energy solutions to swing it."

For every $39 donated, $5.9 will go to putting on star studded Live 8 style concerts.
