Social Climber Accused Of Assault

The one-legged social climber is accused of coffee shop assault.

Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife HEATHER MILLS will be quizzed by police after allegedly kicking a woman in a London coffee shop when she spotted her taking photos.

Amputee Mills, who is preparing for a bitter divorce battle from the former BEATLE, was furious when EMMA LEVY took out her mobile phone in the Starbucks cafe and tried to snap her and a male companion.

Levy says, "She jumped up, grabbed me by the throat and pushed me towards the door. She lashed out with her left leg, kicking me in the bum. I have a big bruise."

A spokesman for Mills confirms the incident, but adds the former model only reacted violently because she feared Levy was a reporter.

He says, "She was taking private notes from a lawyer when a woman tried to take her picture.
