Heather Mills is reportedly claiming that Sir Paul McCartney is such a bad father that two of his children have "contemplated suicide".

The 39-year-old is so desperate to keep their daughter Beatrice that she is reportedly prepared to make the unsubstantiated claims in court.

McCartney has four adult children from his marriage to late wife Linda. There has never been any evidence that any of them have considered suicide.

A friend of Mills told The New York Post: "Paul is asking for full custody of their child, Beatrice. Heather is furious. There is no way she would ever, ever agree to that."

However, McCartney's spokesman refused to confirm the story, saying: "We have not and will not perpetuate tabloid fodder."
