First Lady On 'Vogue'

Showing off her toned arms, Michelle Obama looks very First Ladylike on the March cover of Vogue magazine.

Snapped by photograhper extradonaire Annie Leibovitz, the wife of the forty-fourth President of the United States looks demure in a magenta silk dress by inaugural gown designer Jason Wu.

Chatting with Andre Leon Talley, Michelle tells the mag that her current focus is settling in Washington, D.C., trying to find a church and helping her daughters Malia and Sasha get adjusted.

“I’m going to try to take them to school every morning — as much as I can,” she says. “But there’s also a measure of independence. And obviously there will be times I won’t be able to drop them off at all. I like to be a presence in my kids’ school. I want to know the teacher; I want to know the other parents.”
