First It Was The Two Davids From Last Year...

Kris Allen 'Flattered' By Adam Lambert's Crush
'American Idol' champ thinks it's 'hilarious' that his onetime roommate finds him attractive.

Kris Allen won the affections of the "American Idol" voters and runner-up Adam Lambert, who recently dished about his crush on the season-eight champ.

"I was like, 'Oh, sh--, they put me with the cute guy,' " Lambert told Rolling Stone of his roommate during the show. "Distracting! He's the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type — except that he has a wife. I mean, he's open-minded and liberal, but he's definitely 100 percent straight."

Well, it turns out Allen is cool with the attention. "I'm flattered," the "Idol" winner told People, "and think it's hilarious."

Although Lambert and Allen are pals, Lambert recalled not finding the same type of friendship with worship leader Danny Gokey. "Danny is by the book, and the book is the Word," Lambert explained. "And I respect that. Just don't try to push it on me, and we're cool."

Another "Idol" alum Lambert seems to have a hard time getting along with is Clay Aiken, whom he made some comments about in his Rolling Stone interview.

"Right after the finale, I almost started talking about [my sexuality] to the reporters, but I thought, 'I'm going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler,' " he told the magazine about coming out. "I didn't want the Clay Aiken thing and celebrity-magazine bullsh--. I need to be able to explain myself in context. ... I find it very important to be in control of this situation. I feel like everyone has an opinion of me, and I want a chance to say, 'Well, do you want to hear how I really feel about this?' "

Like He's Gay People!!!!

Enjoying a fun-filled evening, Adam Lambert was spotted making his exit from the Guys and Dolls nightclub in West Hollywood last night (June 1).

The “American Idol” runner-up was holding hands with his boyfriend in a declaration of his much-speculated homosexuality.

Earlier in the week, Adam’s mom Leila Lambert was reticent to talk about her son’s sexuality during a phone interview with E!.

She explained, “I would rather not answer until it comes out,” noting that she signed a contract with Idol forbidding her to discuss Adam’s personal life. It is rumored that Lambert will officially come out to Rolling Stone in the next issue.

American Idol Drama

There's been some controversy surrounding Kris Allen's win on American Idol
after it was made public that AT&T viewing parties in his home state of Arkansas has voters "power texting" their votes into the show.

AT&T employees reportedly instructed fans how to send 10 or more text votes at a time. However, in Adam Lambert's hometown of San Diego power texting was encouraged, although no tutorials were provided.

In response, Fox, Fremantle Media, 19 Entertainment and producers of the show are defending the outcome of the season in a statement: "Fox and the producers of American Idol are absolutely certain that the results of this competition are fair, accurate and verified. Kris Allen is, without a doubt, the American Idol."

How about we just stop worrying about it and see who sells the most records?

Bitch Fight!!!!!

Adam Lambert isn't too hurt that he was slammed by American Idol's Season 2 finalist, Clay Aiken -- who slammed the latest runner-up as "frightening" and apologized one day later.

"I don't know Clay," Lambert told Access Hollywood Thursday. "I'm glad he's getting headlines now though, because he wasn't before."

Last week, Aiken took to his official fan site to post that Lambert's rendition of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" -- in the only episode of the Fox series he watched all season -- made his ears bleed.

"Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening," Aiken wrote. "Just not my cup of tea at all."

A day later, he apologized for his comments: "I do apologize to Adam for my colorful (and negative) choice of words. I hope he can forgive me."

Lucky for Aiken, Lambert doesn't seem to mind.

"If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him," Lambert said before giving Aiken a thumbs-up sign.

The singer also wasn't too concerned about the reports that AT&T might have swayed the outcome to favor Idol winner Kris Allen.

"There are plenty of standards and practices set up where they make sure that there's no, foul play," he said. "And I don't think it's a conspiracy. I think people are making a big deal out of nothing. A couple of employees handed out a couple of phones and showed people how to use them. I don't think that’s a conspiracy of any kind."

Clay Aiken Wants Some Adam Lambert

American Idol season 2 runner-up Clay Aiken got the cold shoulder when he swung by a taping last week. Aiken was allegedly trying to get some face time with Adam Lambert for a forthcoming duets album.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Aiken -- the first Idol contestant to break from his management agreement with the show's producers, 19 Entertainment -- isn't very popular in Idol circles. A source told the paper that Aiken wasn't even allowed to meet this season's favored winner.

A staff member told the Sun- Times, "'To say the least, it was tense around here when Clay showed up -- and boy, did they hustle him off the premises as fast as possible. If he didn't get the hint after that, he never will.”
