Call Me Catherine Bitches

Kate Middleton has asked people to call her Catherine from now on.

It is thought that Catherine is a better name for a member of the royal family rather than just plain Kate.

The news of Kate's name change has added to the speculation that Prince William is planning to propose soon.

If they did get engaged and announce the date for their royal wedding thousands of mugs, plates and tea towels would instantly be made so it is important that they have the 'right' name.

A close friend of Kate told the Daily Mail: "Everyone knows it's about to happen with Kate and William but we were a little surprised about the request to call her Catherine.

"There's a distinct feeling that she has started to become very aware of her position."

Other friends of Kate have defended her request for people to call her Catherine: "No one ever referred to her as Kate - ever,"

"Her family and close friends have always called her Catherine and that's the way she prefers it."

The couple are currently on holiday in Mustique.

Reunited And If Feels So Good

Prince William and Kate Middleton are officially back together - 12 weeks after they split up.

The pair, both 25, are said to have found it difficult to be apart.

'William has persuaded Kate that the problems of dating a future king are a price worth paying,' says a royal source.

The couple's four-year relationship ended in April after claims that Kate wanted commitment.

'Only when they took a step back did they have space to examine how they really felt about each other,' the source tells The Sun.

'They have now talked through their problems and are closer than ever.'

Kate and Wills, who did some smoochy dancing after the Concert For Diana on Sunday, are expected to go public soon at a polo match.

A spokesman for Clarence House declined to comment.

Prince William Prefers The Army Life

A source quoted in The Sun newspaper confirmed the 24-year-old second-in-line to the throne and 25-year-old Kate had gone their separate ways.

The split was caused by the huge pressures on the young couple and because of the time William has devoted to Army life, the paper said.

The couple, who met at St Andrews University, have reached an “amicable agreement” to end their relationship.

Prince William Hits Out At Paparazzi

Prince William has hit out at the media, following recent events concerning his girlfriend.

The Prince is fed up with the paparazzi following the couple, an occurrence which peaked yesterday, as Kate Middleton turned 25.

Middleton was surrounded by 30 photographers as she left her house on her birthday, and was prevented from moving her car by the throng of snappers. The Royal Family has taken measures to prevent all papers in the News International group from printing paparazzi pictures, a group that includes The Sun and the News Of The World.

“What Prince William wants more than anything is for the paparazzi to stop harassing her,” William's spokesperson said yesterday.

Prince William Girlfriend's Right

Twelve police officers were used to escort Prince William's girlfriend from a nightclub today.

A total of nine constables and a sergeant arrived in two vans at 3am outside Boujis.

The prince's two personal armed guards were also there. They formed a cordon to protect Kate Middleton from a scrum of photographers outside the South Kensington nightspot.

The dramatic escalation in protection comes amid Palace concerns about the large number of paparazzi following her wherever she goes.

Four policemen were stationed outside her Chelsea home yesterday. A further two followed her in a patrol car to her office in Kew where she works as a fashion buyer for Jigsaw.

Kate, who is 25 on Tuesday, and 24-year-old William, arrived at Boujis at about midnight. By the time they left about three hours later more than a dozen paparazzi were waiting.
