Tom Cruise has slapped a million-dollar gagging order on caterers from revealing the menu at his wedding this weekend.

Cruise, 44, has hired his favourite restaurant in Rome - Del Bolognese - to feed guests when they gather at the nearby medieval town of Bracciano for his third trip up the aisle to marry Katie Homes, 27.

Some details have got out however, like the 6,000 rose - and - coffee scented candles he has ordered at the imposing Odescalchi castle where the ceremony is due to take place -

"They're bound to be de-caf," said one observer. There are also reports of a planned Scientology ceremony immediately afterwards that allegedly involves stroking a cat and whispering strange incantations.

Steven Spielberg, George Clooney, John Travolta, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are among those invited and Cruise has hired a fleet of limousines to ferry them on the 37-mile journey from Rome.

Local police have agreed to shut down the tiny town centre to traffic for the day but refused to clear airspace over the town to keep prying helicopters away from the proceedings.

Absolute Madness!!!! Okay, I can't blame him for doing this considering the media.... but all this for a show that will run for a couple of years? Like really!!!!! Can't wait for the divorce.
