David Beckham - £ 100million Man?

Real Madrid footballer David Beckham has insured himself for a massive £100 million.

The insurance cover is said to be the biggest ever personal policy in sport history and will cover Becks for injury in the field, disfigurement and serious illness.

According to the Sun, the insurance policy is so large that has been spread over various different companies.

The move to up his insurance policy comes just one year before Becks’ contract with Real Madrid ends and in the year that has seen Becks’ income decrease by 10%.

However, he need not worry about the pennies, between his £4million salary from Real Madrid and multi-million pound deals with the likes of Adidas and Motorola; he should be able to keep his wife in designer frocks for some time yet.
