Harry Potter Might Die In Next Book

Bets have started over whether or not Harry Potter will die in the final instalment of the series of books by J K Rowling.

The author has hinted previously that tragedy may lurk at the end of the last novel and bookmakers William Hill have said that punters believe that it will be Harry who dies.

Lord Voldemort is 4-5 favorite to kill off the popular character in the seventh book in the series, entitled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Other contenders to kill Harry included Professor Snape at 5-2, Draco Malfroy at 6-1, Ron Weasley at 6-1 and Hermione Granger at 6-1.

Rowling is still writing the final book in the series.
