OMG!!!! Idol: The Musical
This is soooo funny so I won't rehash the story:
AMERICAN IDOL star CLAY AIKEN’s fans have inspired a new Broadway musical.
The ‘Claymates’ will be the focus of a new stageshow, called Idol: The Musical.
The project is described as "a satirical musical comedy that focuses on the outrageous and delusional fan base of American Idol".
Set in Ohio, the show follows a group of devoted high school kids (Fag hags in the making) obsessed by Idol and Aiken.

o pass the time, the group gathers in a barn to ‘worship’ a shrine to Aiken, who represents their dreams of leaving home and becoming stars.

I actually saw this show in Syracuse NY and its absolutly great! Amazing music, unforgettable characters, and a hialrious premis. Its definatly worth seeing! And you might even learn something from it. Something alot of broadway shows can't even do.
