Kate Moss Is In 'Pete' Rehab

Supermodel Kate Moss is reportedly planning a Caribbean getaway to recover from her obsession with rock star Pete Doherty permanently. Moss' friends say that flying thousands of miles away from Doherty, who was recently told by a judge to give up drugs or face jail, is the only way that she thinks can help her wean herself off the troubled Babyshambles frontman.

They even say that the supermodel uses the term "cold turkey" to describe her dealing with the break-up with Doherty. "This Caribbean trip shows how serious she is about finally kicking the Pete habit. She is even using the same terminology to describe dealing with the break-up, describing it as going 'cold turkey.' She beat the drugs in rehab and now she's hoping to do the same with Pete," a friend was quoted as saying.

"Kate wants to put distance between her and Pete. She is planning a trip to the tiny island she goes to when she wants to get away from it all. She knows the only way she can cure herself of Pete is by making sure she can't see him," the friend added. Insiders have also revealed that this trip is not just to get "clean" of Pete, but also to think up a plan to make sure that she continues to rule the ramp.

"Kate's spent the past year looking like some down-and-out groupie. She's absolutely ridiculously thin, even for her. She's realised that to stay at the top of her game she has to put the work in. She's booked a special nutritionist to look at her body," another friend said.

Kate Moss was recently dropped by Agent Provocateur and Burberry in favor of younger faces. Moss has been featured in 11 out of 15 Burberry campaigns.
