Publicity For The Movie "Rendition"

It's like cut this bullshit already. There's like no way Jake and Reese ever going to be a couple unless they're promoting a movies such as the one coming out this month, "Rendition".

Most likely they're BFF.......

After first deciding to be "just friends," as reported here recently, apparently Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are again exploring the possibility of a romantic relationship. According to friends, Gyllenhaal is pushing to get things back on track. Understandably, Witherspoon is somewhat "gun-shy" about leaping into a new relationship, considering the recent collapse of what many long considered a "perfect" marriage to Ryan Phillippe.

In recent days, Gyllenhaal and Witherspoon have enjoyed several quiet dinners, always at Reese's home (to avoid the chance of being spotted by the paparazzi). I also understand that Gyllenhaal, who has made no secret of his desire to have a family, has spent a significant amount of time playing with Witherspoon's children. One dinner reportedly included Jake's sister Maggie Gyllenhaal and her fiance, Peter Sarsgaard, who co-stars with the couple in "Rendition," opening Oct. 19.

There is said to be talk of all of them celebrating Thanksgiving together, possibly at a secluded villa on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. Spokesfolks for all concerned declined to comment.

So Jake is a nice guy who likes having dinner with Reese and playing with her kids.....
