HEATHER MILLS has launched another scathing attack on estranged husband SIR PAUL McCARTNEY - branding him a "skinflint".

Mills, 39, accused the former Beatle of being "tight" with his estimated $1.65 billion (£825 million) fortune and insists he is refusing to divorce her unless she stops her media blitz.

She says, "This is a man that hangs on to his money. He wouldn’t be so rich if he didn’t. Who needs that kind of money? "He wants me to be gagged and they won’t give me a divorce until I’m gagged.

If I wanted to speak before this I would have spoken by now." Mills criticised McCartney in a string of TV interviews across the globe last week (ends02Nov07).
