Golddigger Gets $48 Million
This just in: Paul McCartney has been ordered to pay his estranged wife Heather Mills 24.3 million pounds ($48.7 million) in their divorce settlement.
The 65-year-old Beatle married the 40-year-old former model and charity campaigner in 2002 but they split four years.
UPDATE:
A judge has awarded Heather Mills a total of $48.6 million in the financial settlement of her divorce from former Beatle Paul McCartney.
A document released by the Family Court says the judge awarded Mills a lump sum of $33 million plus assets she currently holds worth $15.6 million. Mills says she is "very happy" with the settlement.
