Prince Crackhead Is King Of The Slammer

Just when you thought Pete Doherty was slumming it in prison with the other criminals, finally getting his comeuppence and somehow narrowly avoiding a beating each day, we have now found out that he is receiving special treatment...

Pete has been given his own cell in Wormwood Scrubs and a bunk with two mattresses (unfortunately Blake is in Pentonville otherwise he could invite him round for a sleepover). And that's not all.

He's also been given a TV, so it's pretty likely that he was watching 'Britain's Got Talent' on Saturday night, and a radio. These sort of privileges are usually provided to inmates after weeks of good behaviour. But not so for Pete.

A source told The Sun said:

"He’s in the segregation unit because of who he is. It’s thought he could be vulnerable. He’s been put on enhanced privileges, which means he can have virtually what he wants, so that includes an extra mattress, TV and radio. It’s basically the five-star treatment, which takes most prisoners weeks of good behaviour to achieve."

We wonder if it comes complete with mini bar too. Well at least he has plenty of distractions as it doesn't look like he'll be getting any visitors.
