Travis Barker Is A Hero

Plane crash update: From what we're hearing, Travis Barker is a hero. When the doomed plane started hurtling about, Travis and DJ AM were sitting in the front seats. They turned around and saw a ball of fire roaring in the back of the plane and watched in horror as it engulfed their friends seated in the back. Travis realized what was coming and he pushed the door open and grabbed DJ AM and pulled him out of the moving plane. They were both on fire and ran screaming as fast and as far from the fiery plane as they could. DJ AM can't sleep and somehow is able to text friends in spite of his hand burns. He's worried about his scalp being burned off. Travis is quiet - he's on more painkillers.

Travis Barker And DJ AM Are Doing Well

Music producer Jermaine Dupri and Janet Jackson's boyfriend, visited Travis Barker in the hospital on Sunday.

"It's a seriously sad situation," Dupri tells Usmagazine.com. He's doing good... but I really hate to see my friends go through this."

Mandy Moore, who used to date DJ AM, was also spotted at the hospital today.

Barker and DJ AM suffered second and third degree burns from Friday's jet crash that killed four people, Dr. Fred Mullins, Medical Director at Georgia's Joseph Still Burn Center, announced at a press conference Sunday morning.

Barker has burns on his torso and lower body and Goldstein has burns on his arm and part of his head, Mullins said. (Mullins would not say the percentage of their bodies that were burned or whether they were conscious. He also did not go into detail about the type of treatment they are currently receiving.)

He said the two did not sustain any other injuries from the crash.

“I think these patients are going to make a full recovery,” Mullins said.

He added, “Anybody who can survive a plane crash is very lucky.”

What Is Mandy Moore Thinking?

The actress-and-singer and the DJ, real name Adam Goldstein, are said to have been friends for years but have now started dating after seeing each other at a New Year's Eve party in Miami.

A source told People magazine: "It's really new. They're in the beginning stages of getting to know each other. They're very into each other. It's very sweet." Since the party - at which Moore was seen cosying up to her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama - the pair were seen last Saturday (06.01.07) enjoying an intimate lunch date at a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf coffee house, in Los Angeles.

An onlooker told Us Weekly magazine: "She had a huge smile on her face. When they left, they put their arms around each other." A few days earlier Moore, 22, is said to have invited Goldstein, 33, to her Los Angeles recording studio where she played him a selection of songs from her new album.

Goldstein's representative is so far refusing to comment on the alleged romance, while Moore's publicist won't comment on her personal life.

I'm sure this is not true.... this could be a case where two friends are caught having coffeee and suddenly the media are spinning that they're dating....
