It's Official.... Jeremy Piven Is An Asshole

So you heard about the Matsuhisa in Aspen episode with Jeremy Piven, right? Well apparently that was not the firts time.

Apparently a similar incident happened at a restaurant off Vine in Hollywood. Piven, who did not have a reservation, was reportedly unhappy a table could not be found because the restaurant was booked solid on Valentine's Day.

"Believe it or not, he used the 'Don't you know who I am?' line," laughs the source.

"He proceeded to berate [the hostess] about her treatment of him." Piven allegedly left in a huff, "but not before slamming her about her working in a restaurant," says the spy.

Like I said earlier, dude, you show is on cable!!!!!

Jeremy Piven Is Taking His Role To Real Life

Daily News reports:

The "Entourage" arriviste has reportedly been warned to keep away from Nobu Matsuhisa 's restaurant empire after boorish behavior in Aspen during the recent U.S. Comedy Arts Festival.

"He was asked never to return to Matsuhisa in Aspen by a manager," alleges a snitch.

"He came in with a large group of 12 or more without reservations and asked for a table. It was a very busy night, but a table, although cramped, was provided. On his way out, he made a nasty comment to the manager: 'Thanks for nothing.'"

Piven was at the HBO-sponsored festival to appear on a panel with fellow "Entourage" stars. Allegedly his tip also left something to be desired.

"He left a DVD of the first year of 'Entourage' to one of the waiters. [An employee] ran up the stairs and hurled it at him as he was leaving."

The actor was tartly advised to steer clear of Nobu outposts in New York and Los Angeles as well (although they are managed separately).

Piven said through his rep: "I'm such a fan of Nobu and all of his restaurants. I had a great dinner at the Nobu in Aspen. As always, the meal was excellent and the service was great."

Damn!!!! Sad, actually. I think he thinks he a big star throwing such diva attitude. Dude, your show is on cable!!!! Get over yourself.

John Cusack and Jeremy Piven's Lovefest

John Cusack is slamming reports he isn't supportive of longtime friend Jeremy Piven's recent career successes. Piven was quoted in Best Life magazine saying the pair had a falling out after Cusack became jealous of his new-found fame.

Piven had played supporting roles in many of Cusack's films before landing a role on the hit series Entourage, for which he won an Emmy Award last year.

Cusack hits back at the claims he isn't thrilled about his friend's success telling American publication People, "It's quite the contrary. I am very happy for Jeremy. I wish him the best and always have."

The pair first studied acting together at Chicago's Piven Theatre Workshop in Illinois, which was run by Piven's parents.

John Cusack Is Jealous Of Jeremy Piven

Jeremy Piven insists the reason he had a falling out with John Cusack was because his longtime friend wasn't supportive of his newfound success. The two first studied acting at Chicago's Piven Theatre Workshop in Illinois, which was run by Piven's parents.

Piven played supporting roles in many of Cusack's films, including Say Anything, Grosse Pointe Blank and Runaway Jury, before getting his big break on the hit TV series Entourage and winning an Emmy Award.

When asked how Cusack has handled Piven's recent successes, he tells Best Life magazine, "No comment. I mean, you could fill in the blank, I bet."

Piven says of Cusack, "I was always proud of him, and I was always in his corner. Always. It just says so much about a person if he has space for other people's success. I have always been so proud of my friends' success. I own that proudly because I come by it naturally. I was raised on that spirit of collaboration. You start getting into trouble in life when you start comparing and contrasting your life to anyone else's."

Jealous? Why? It's a cable tv show!!!! Just doesn't make sense. I bet it's simply because whatever fame came Jeremy Piven's way might have gotten into his head and he started acting out like a big star forgetting his friends such as John Cusack.... Again, I'm just speculating here. It's just that it doesn't make sense for John to be jealous.....
