When Two Publicity Whores Unite

Is funnywoman Kathy Griffin giving retired paparazzo Adnan Ghalib another 15 minutes of fame?

The odd couple took to the streets this afternoon, parading down Robertson Blvd., shopping for underwear, chatting on their cell phones, eating lunch and holding hands. They appeared to be the perfect Hollywood couple out for a date, but the camera crew and boom operator revealed that this was a staged outing.

Kathy has struggled to remain in the spotlight over the years and now it seems she is trying to help Adnan regain the fame he enjoyed when he was dating Britney Spears. The two even had a business lunch with what appeared to be industry executives. Producers? Agents?

Will the two climb back up the ladder of Hollywood notoriety or forever be destined to stand in the shadows of true talent?

So she took a taxi to an event she knew would be well-covered by the paparazzi. As she was stepping out of the taxi, she "tripped" and fell face-first to the pavement. Photos of her tumble were posted all over the Internet and in newspapers. "It worked!" Griffin bragged to Page Six. "Part of episode seven is that I do anything to be in the tabs in London. They're very big on pics of celebs falling drunkenly out of cabs. The shot was almost ruined when some nice lady tried to help me!"

I can think of better ways for her to get attention like perhaps do an elaborate suicide???? Just a thought.
