Pussy Whipped Nick??????

Mariah Carey's marriage won't last more than six months, according to friends.

The 38-year-old singer, who wed rapper Nick Cannon in April, is so demanding her new husband won't be able to cope with her diva-like behaviour.

One pal close to Mariah revealed 27-year-old Nick has become a source of ridicule for her friends and associates.

The source told Life and Style Weekly magazine: "I give the marriage six months, tops. I can't see it lasting.

"Nick does whatever Mariah wants him to - he's like her puppy. It seems like he spends more time in the stores with Mariah's credit card than he does with Mariah herself.

"Mariah's assistants and friends call him 'Whipped Nick' behind his back. They have little respect for him because he won't stand up for himself."

However, a friend of Nick's has vehemently denied the relationship is already in trouble, insisting Nick and Mariah are perfect for each other.

MARIAH CAREY was so taken aback by NICK CANNON’s surprise proposal on the roof of her New York apartment, she ran away from him.
Cannon got down on bended knee as the pair was gazing at the Empire State Building, lit up in pink and purple to mark the release of Carey’s new album E=MC2.

He presented her with a Ring Pop candy, but placed a 17-carat pink diamond inside the plastic casing and tied the whole thing up with ribbon. Carey admits she thought the plastic candy toy was broken when she first saw it and couldn’t believe it when she realised her boyfriend was proposing.

Cannon recalls, "She ran away and got all shy." She finally said yes and confirmed she’d marry the actor/rapper during a helicopter flight he had planned shortly after.

She tells People magazine, "That was beautiful."

The happy couple said their I Dos at sunset at the beach on her estate in the Bahamas. He wore Balenciaga. She wore an off-white dress by Nile Cmylo. “And (Christian) Louboutins — I can wear high heels with Nick because he’s tall. Flats are not in my repertoire,” says the new bride.

Nick on their whirlwind affair: “It was a love-at-first-sight thing. Since we’ve been together, we’ve been inseparable.”

Mariah on how friends knew they were getting serious: “One thing (few people) knew was we got tattoos a few weeks earlier. So anyone who saw my (”Mrs. Cannon”) tattoo wasn’t surprised. To me rings are special and exciting, but tattoos mean more than anything. They’re forever and ever.”

Nick on their connection: “From the first time we sat down to discuss the video at the Beverly Hills Hotel, we connected. … I was able to be myself with her. We are both eternally 12 years old.”

Mariah on plans to have kids: “It’s part of the whole purpose of getting married. I’d just want our children to have the best childhood and upbringing they possibly could.”
