Kylie Minogue has enjoyed secret meetings with former lover Olivier Martinez, also known as 'Le Rat' after cheating on her, in an attempt to rekindle their four-year relationship.

But The Mail on Sunday can reveal that the couple have recently enjoyed at least two romantic rendezvous in Paris.

After one lunch meeting, Kylie, who was visiting the French capital for a routine check-up at Tenon Hospital, was spotted kissing and embracing Martinez outside a cafe on the Left Bank, close to where the 41-year-old actor has a home.

The couple have remained friends since their split, and the actor often allows Kylie to stay in his flat in the fashionable St Germain district - but this was the first time they have been in the city together. And both Kylie and Martinez have come to realise they are the love of each other's lives, according to friends.

A source in the US told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Olivier and Sarai have moved in together and they are inseparable. Understandably Kylie is upset. To her it looks like he was cheating on her with Sarai. But even if he wasn't, she still thinks it's all happened too quickly. The only time Kylie and Olivier kind of set up home was when he was looking after her in Paris when she was having her cancer treatment."

Kylie FedEx-ed Olivier's Stuff

Kylie Minogue has reportedly cleared out all of Olivier Martinez’s belongings from her homes in London and Sydney and sent them by courier to him in Los Angeles - and included some gifts he’d given her over their four years together too.

A source told the Daily Mail: “Kylie has been in absolute turmoil, but she said the show must go on.”

“She has FedEx-ed all his property to Los Angeles, where he is staying. What has gone back includes an antique pair of diamond earrings and a friendship ring he gave her.”

“Also couriered were all of his clothes and personal belongings .. his aftershave, moisturiser, all the books and records and CDs they bought together in flea markets in Paris while Kylie was in recovery and other things like film scripts he left behind.”

“She has also had all the pictures of her and him taken down in the houses and put them in a big envelope.”

“If she can get through cancer she can get over him.”

Martinez's Mum Still Loves Minogue

OLIVIER MARTINEZ's mother was devastated when she found out her son had split from longtime girlfriend KYLIE MINOGUE because it was like losing a daughter.

Minogue, 38, and Martinez, 41, recently announced they were ending their romance after nearly four years together.

Martinez's mother, ROSEMARY, says, "It's very sad. Kylie was like a daughter to us. Olivier is upset."

A source tells Us Weekly magazine, "They fell out of love. They'd argue whenever they saw each other."

Another source adds, "It was complicated. They had been trying to end it for a long time."

Rosemary insists the split will remain amicable adding, "We wish her all the best, as does Olivier. We will all be staying in touch."

Aussie pop queen Kylie Minogue will be heartbroken after seeing photos of ex-boyfriend Olivier Martinez embracing Penelope Cruz, just 12 hours after their split from a four-year relationship.

Penelope was all smiles as she met with Olivier in the luxurious Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The hotel is becoming a hot spot for the hunky French actor, who was recently spotted with Israeli model Sarai Givati at the hotel, fuelling speculation he was on the verge of leaving Kylie.

To make matter worse? The Chateau Marmont is where Kylie and Olivier first met.

Kylie Minogue split from Olivier Martinez because she had "lost all trust" in the French actor.

The pop princess decided to cut her losses and end their relationship after pictures of Martinez spending time with other women were printed in a number of newspapers in recent months.

Friends claim that the couple also had bitter rows over Kylie's plans to adopt a child in the future - as Olivier didn't want to give up hope on having his own baby.

A source told the News of the World: "They've been arguing over her plans to start a family. Because of her breast cancer, Kylie feels the best way is through adoption, but Olivier refused.

"He still feels he can be a natural father to his children and refused to entertain her talk of adoption. To Kylie that was heartbreaking. She wants her man to feel the same way that she does about children. Eventually she couldn't take it any more. She is sick of reading about his liaisons with other beautiful women.

"Although Olivier denies he was cheating, she was becoming paranoid and feels she has lost all trust. Her cancer ordeal taught her that life is too short to waste on bad feelings and they spent too much time arguing."

Olivier Martinez - who was described by Kylie as "the most honourable man I've met" during her illness - insists he did everything he possibly could for his lover.

He told Cosmopolitan magazine: "I didn't think about myself at the time. All I did was try my best in the situation. It's important to be honest with yourself. What you say should be what you do. Don't just say, 'I love you'. Show it."

The 41-year-old French star has also revealed his attitude towards death changed when he was involved in a horrific motorbike accident more than a decade ago.

He said: "I broke my back in a motorcycle accident and came close to dying.

Doctors told me I'd end up in a wheelchair but I was lucky. The accident helped me learn the true price of life. It put everything in perspective - money, fame. However, I'm no longer afraid of dying, I'm afraid of suffering."

When the clock struck midnight, Kylie took a short break from the stage to see in 2007 with her French actor lover Olivier Martinez.
An onlooker said: "It was really an emotional moment. Kylie gave him a long hug and kiss before she went back on stage beaming from ear to ear."

The U2 frontman was honoured for both his music and his charity work, more specifically his work to help the third world countries in Africa. Tony Blair wrote to the singer, telling him: "You have tirelessly used your voice to speak up for Africa."

However, Bono, real name Paul Hewson, will not be able to brand himself "Sir", as he is not a British citizen. It is a situation much the same as Bob Geldof, who was awarded a knighthood 20 years ago.

Kylie Minogue's family is growing impatient with her relationship with actor Olivier Martinez. Though Martinez has yet to make a firm commitment to Minogue, she is still running across the world in order to get to him, disappointing her family.


Kylie's latest trip to see Olivier was in reaction to rumors that he had cheated on her. He was photographed in Paris recently with a model named Sarai Givati. Having seen the photographs, Kylie left her Australian home to confront Olivier in Paris.

Kylie was in Australia to celebrate the holidays and her comeback Showgirl tour. It is also Kylie's nephew's first Christmas. An insider told British newspaper, the Sun, "There was supposed to be a huge party after the last Melbourne concert of her Showgirl Homecoming tour. Everyone was invited...but Kylie left the concert straight away and went home to pack."

The Minogue family was shattered that Kylie would not be present for the celebrations. The source said, "They are fed up with reading of alleged affairs. They had all been looking forward to a proper family Christmas."

KYLIE MINOGUE has abruptly left Australia to rush back to Paris, France, amid claims boyfriend OLIVIER MARTINEZ has been unfaithful.

The SPINNING AROUND star had planned to spend her first Christmas since winning her breast cancer battle with her family, but has instead flown back to Europe less than 12 hours after completing the final performance of her Australian tour.

A spokeswoman for the company promoting Minogue's tour attributed the sudden dash to her upcoming New Year's Eve (31DEC06) show at London's Wembley Arena, telling Sydney's Daily Telegraph her schedule had moved forward after the concert was announced.

Minogue's sister, DANNII said late last week (ends17DEC06) that the family had planned on spending the holidays together in their hometown of Melbourne, saying, "We know how lucky we are to be together this Christmas."

Media reports claim Olivier has been romancing 24-year-old model SARAI GIVATI after the two were photographed together, with the model reportedly saying that they had spent "three wonderful days and nights together".
