The Devil Will Not Go Away

In a bizarre move on Thursday, publicist Michael Sands, who used to be the mouthpiece for Kevin Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan, but who now represents Britney Spears' strange little friend Sam Lutfi, attempted to file a motion with the court to have both the pop star's custody and conservatorship hearings moved to the jurisdiction of a federal court.

The papers, delivered by Sands but not yet reviewed by the judge, were drafted by lawyer John Eardley, who has offices in Jericho, NY, and Washington, DC, but who — from what OK! can tell — is not licensed to practice in California.

According to the document, Eardley argues that the federal courts should take both cases and claims, among other things, that Britney has been "stripped of her right to access counsel of her choosing... denied access to her motor vehicles... denied the right to associate freely with her friends," and perhaps most telling, "denied the right to her finances."

One case insider tells OK! that Sam is obviously behind this latest move. "He's upset because he can't see Britney and have her pay him money," explains the insider. "If Sam gets paid, then he can pay the lawyer and Sands. It's all ludicrous."

As for whether there is any merit to this motion, the insider tells OK!, "I'd be willing to bet that aside from Sam and Sands grandstanding on the courthouse steps, this is the last we hear about it."

OK Magazine

In the documents obtained by TMZ, attorney Jon Eardley claims Britney's rights have been snatched away from her and she has been cut off from life as she knows it.

Eardley claims, "It is doubtful that Ms. Spears can receive equal protection and a fair trial or hearing in the custody proceedings because of the intense media scrutiny of what would normally be private aspects of a person's life." It appears Eardley wants an injunction issued in federal court, asking the judge for the power to protect Brit in the custody case as well.

The documents allege "the deprivation of her civil liberties by the conservator is so severe as to interfere with the effectiveness of the scheduled medications that are covered by the Food, Drug and Cosmetics Act." This appears to be an attempt to get the Federal court to accept jurisdiction.

It is unclear on whose behalf Eardley is acting. We're told Sam Lutfi and his spokesman, Michael Sands, have something to do with the filing, though the exact nature of their involvement is unclear.

Sam Lufti Is Really An Asshole

With news about a temporary restraining order being issued against Britney Spears‘ sidekick Sam Lutfi, more questions are being raised about this man who seemingly appeared from nowhere to become an integral fixture in the pop star’s life.

According to Ken Dungey, Lutfi often brags about the control he has over Britney. On January 19, Ken invited Sam to his birthday party. Ken explained what happened in an email to Bitten and Bound:

"Sam called on the night I had my birthday party on Saturday the 19th, he had Britney sing Happy Birthday to me then she got on the phone and talked to me for a minute. Then Sam wanted to display his power he has against her.

Sam said “watch this, see how much control I have over her” and he said” Britney, I’m going to go to Orange County to Ken’s for his Birthday party” Sam always held the phone up so I could hear whatever Britney was saying. Anyways, I heard Britney say ok, let me get my jacket, then Sam whispered and chuckled and said to me “watch this” then he said ” no Britney, I’m going to go by myself, she went crazy starting to cry and said :” no Sam please don’t leave me here alone” and she was at his knees and he was laughing saying ” get up off the floor bitch.” then she ran out of the room crying and yelling.

These are the things I want to get out so everyone can see how he really treats her behind closed doors."

Interestingly, when Ken arrived, there was already an X-17 photographer in the parking lot waiting on Britney’s arrival.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Lutfi claims that he makes no money from Britney and he is there as a friend. He has said before that he is her manager. He also says that he has never accepted money from the media, however it has been widely reported that he informs the paparazzi of her whereabouts and provides them with invaluable information. According to X-17 co-owner Brandy Navarre, Sam tells her things “that the TMZs and Us Weeklys of the world would die for.”

When asked by Ken during one phone conversation how much money he actually makes, Lutfi allegedly replied “More money than most American CEOs.”

When OK! Magazine published “personal” photos of Britney Spears and her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, which were allegedly sold to the magazine by photographer Dani Brubaker, Lutfi sent text messages to Dungey about the incident, threatening to sue. Two days after the text messages, MSNBC reported that Britney had sold the pictures to OK!.

The night Britney was taken to the hospital, Ken saw the news on TMZ and texted Sam asking what was going on. Sam replied “Mental breakdown.”

We also obtained a text message Lutfi sent to Dungey’s friend Danny Haines, who took a restraining order out against Lutfi after his behavior turned violent. Read more about Danny’s ordeal in our earlier report. In the text message Lutfi says he hopes Haines’ sister is “raped to death.”

In addition to Danny Haines’ restraining order, two others have been issued against Sam Lutfi. Us Magazine has the chilling details that led to those restraining orders.

When I asked Ken if he feared retaliation from Sam Lutfi, he told me he had already contacted friends with the FBI.

Bitten and Bound made several attempts to call Sam Lutfi for comment on this story. He has not returned our calls.

Adnan And Osama's True Colors Revealed

Both Britney Spears‘ unofficial manager and paparazzo lover are shopping proposals for a pair of tell-all books about the pop star’s psychotic breakdown to American publishers.

”That should tell you something about their true devotion to Britney and her interests,” a Spears insider says of Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib.

”These guys better get those books out real fast,” says a former member of Britney’s legal team. ”This story is changing daily. Unless those books include information the public already doesn’t know, those ‘tell-alls’ won’t mean much, given what may happen to Britney in the days and weeks to come.”

Brit Brit Goes To Court

It’s showdown day for Britney Spears’ as she attempts to fight to regain control of her estate.

The hospitalized pop princess, who has just been handed a 14-day extension into her involuntary stay at UCLA’s Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation, particularly desires that her father not have any control over her life.

Lawyers representing Britney are expected to be present in court today, and shall argue that given Britney’s consistent feelings of distrust and hatred for her father, that her appointment as conservator of her estate is inappropriate.

So, does Britney have a point? Or are these merely ramblings of a bipolar nut? Well, according to the evil Sam Lutfi, Brit’s exiled former manager, insists the father is only interfering in his daughter’s life at the current time for control of her money.

Only time — and arbitration — will tell the outcome of this saga.

Osama Lutfi Gets Restraining Order

Sam Lutfi is no longer at Britney Spears’ hospital bedside and perhaps that’s the best thing that’s happened to her yet!

Check out a newly surfaced temporary restraining order filed against Sam. Or should we say Osama?

This is only one of two R.O.’s that were filed against the faux manager — one was issued in 2004 followed by another in 2007.

In both cases, he was ordered to stay 100 yards away from the petitioners.

Let’s hope Britney follows suit soon!
