Britney Spears wants her former manager Sam Lutfi and her ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib to cover all the legal costs incurred in her bid to win restraining orders against them.

The singer won a court order last month banning Lutfi and his attorney Jon Eardley from going within 100 yards of the singer or her family members for the next three years. A similar order was issued against paparazzo Ghalib in March.

And Spears is attempting to get her former associates to pay her lawyers' bill.

The singer's legal team filed the motion in a Los Angeles court last Friday, requesting a judge order Lutfi to pay $123,142, Ghalib $72,292 and Eardley $129,922.

A ruling has yet to be made on the request, reports People.com.

Lutfi filed an appeal against the restraining order earlier this month.

Britney Spears' father has branded her ex-manager a "dangerous predator".

Jamie Spears made the comments while giving his testimony at a Los Angeles court on Monday (23.02.09), where he was attempting to maintain a restraining order which keeps Sam Lutfi away from Britney.

Jamie - who is co-conservator of Britney's personal and professional affairs - said: "When Lutfi was in so-called control, she'd lost everything - her kids and career. I believe he's a predator, I believe he's very dangerous to her and causes her a lot of anguish and disbelief. We've asked him to go away before, and now he's coming back. We just want the man to go away. Just leave us alone."

Jamie also insists he will do everything in his power to keep Britney's ex-boyfriend paparazzo Adnan Ghalib away from the 27-year-old singer.

The concerned parent - who now runs every aspect of Britney's life, including monitoring her phone calls - also claims the pop star's security team recently confiscated a pre-paid phone which was given to her by Sam and Adnan.

Sam Lutfi has filed a lawsuit against Britney Spears and her parents for libel, defamation, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and breach of contract.

According to the papers, Sam claims Jamie and Lynn "launched a campaign of lies and intimidation designed to destroy Lutfi and drive him out of Britney's life."

In the lawsuit, Sam claims he was standing in Britney's kitchen on January 29, 2008 when Jamie stormed into the house. Lutfi alleges Jamie yelled at him, claiming Sam made a rude comment to Lynne the night before. Then, Sam claims, Jamie "intentionally punched him in the chest" and threatened to kill him if he ever heard Sam make a rude comment about Lynne or any member of the Spears family again.

All the claims of libel and defamation spring from Lynne's book, "Through the Storm." Lutfi says since the publication of the book, he "has been subjected to unfathomable amounts of ridicule and public scorn."

Lutfi also claims Britney broke a contract with him and owes him unpaid management fees. He claims he had an oral agreement with Spears to be her manager for four years, earning 15% commission.

Last Friday, Britney was granted a restraining order against Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib, barring them from having any contact with her, her parents or her kids.

Sam Lufti Should Just Go Away!!!!

SPEARS’ ex-manager SAM LUTFI has filed papers objecting to the Superior Court commissioner assigned to the star’s conservatorship case - asking for a judge to oversee the matter instead.
Lutfi filed the papers on Friday (14Mar08), but they did not reach the court in time for a hearing on Monday (17Mar08) in which Commissioner Reva Goetz extended a temporary restraining order against him until 16 April (08).

His one-sentence filing says, "Please take notice that Osama "Sam" Lutfi will not stipulate to the above-referenced case being heard by Reva Goetz, commissioner presiding, to whom the above-entitled case has been assigned." The document was signed by Lutfi and indicated he was representing himself.

Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini told Lutfi he would be able to appear in court on 16 April (08), the date to which the restraining order has been extended, to make a request for the case to be reassigned to a court judge.

Commissioners perform many of the same duties as judges, but all parties involved in the proceedings must agree to one hearing a case - which means Lutfi has the right to demand a judge oversee the case instead.

At the weekend (Beg15Mar08), Lufti’s representative Michael Sands insisted Spears’ former manager will stay away from the troubled Toxic star until the order is revised.

Jamie Spears, the pop superstar’s father, and his estranged wife Lynne, Britney’s mother, won a restraining order against Lutfi when he took charge of the singer’s legal and financial affairs last month (Feb08).

Despite his latest restraining order (that makes four), Sam Lutfi refuses to go away. This time he’s insisting that Britney Spears wants him back in her life and her father, Jamie Spears, is a bad influence.

A hearing to overturn the restraining order is scheduled for March 17, where Sam will claim Britney fears her life is being taken over.

Sam told a friend, “I am going to call Britney to the stand so she can tell the world how I was helping her. I am innocent. I am Britney’s friend and would never hurt her.”

And how is Sam so confident that Britney will do this for him? He’s secretly contacted her through a third party. Naturally.
