The mother of a boy who claimed Michael Jackson molested him, leading to last years' sensational trial drama, pleased no contest Monday to welfare fraud.

In California, pleading "no contest" is like admitting that you're sorry ass is guilty.

The 38-year-old woman, whose name by marriage is Janet Jackson, was ordered to perform 150 hours of community service and repay more than $8,600 to the county social services department.

Superior Court Judge Barbara Johnson told the woman her charge will be reduced to a misdemeanor if she pays restitution and completes the community service. She is scheduled to be sentenced April 27, prosecutors said.

Janet Jackson's defense attorney Particia J. Hattersley cited that her client had a valid defense but chose to plead no contest so she can move on with her life.

Now that's so funny. What valid defense? Craziness?

Defense attorney also mentioned that "she doesn't want to put her family and her children through a major trial".

Double funny. This woman, Janet Jackson, is an opportunist bitch pretty much in the league of K-Fed, Anna Nicole Smith and Heather Miller.
