The Truth About The Beckham Move

David Beckham's decision to move stateside may have had less to do with to do with playing soccer and more to do with finding his son Romeo the best epilepsy treatment in the world.

David - who last week agreed a whopping $250 million deal with the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer club (yeah, it exists) - has apparently been planning to move to the US for months because the world's leading experts in the illness are based in Los Angeles.

A source reveals: "The main reason for the move is Romeo. They are desperate to find a way to control his epilepsy and have been doing their research. The best place to get the medical attention he needs is Los Angeles - they even carry out high-tech, experimental surgery to try and control the condition."

David and wifey Victoria reportedly told friends they would move "to the ends of the earth" to get the best care for the four-year-old.
