Lane Garrison's Real "Prison Break" Story
The court drama continued yesterday for Lane Garrison and TMZ was there of course...
With Lane on the stand, his first words were:
"I relive that night every day, and I think about the bad decisions I made."
Addressing to the dead boy's parents, the Vahagns:
"All I can say to you is that I'm sorry. I tried to contact you every day. This PSA was not a publicity stunt"
"I don't want this to happen to anyone. We should think about our actions."
"We can't bring him back, but I'm sorry for my behavior that evening and that is not representative of who I am usually."
"I also want to apologize to my family and friends for putting them through this."
Anyways, Garrison's lawyer, Harland Braun, just told the judge there is evidence that his client may have unwittingly consumed a spike drink at the party when he accepted an orange drink that "tasted somewhat salty", possibly spiked with GHB.
Harland Braun told the judge:
"We don't have a country where people come in and accept responsibility. He at least came in here and didn't even plead not guilty".
Verdict?
Judge Elden Fox has set the stage for Lane Garrison to become a free man in 90 days.
The judge ordered Lane Garrison to go to state prison for 90 days, for shrinks and others to determine if he's a suitable candidate for straight probation.
The D.A. of course hated the decision and argued that he should get four years in prison.
As of last night, Lane Garrison was taken into L.A. County Shreiff's custody at the Beverly Hills Courthouse and booked.
Good luck Lane..... you're given a second chance, use it wisely my dear boy.
