Speaking Of Tommy Boy........

In the past year, Katie Holmes has sat front row at swankest fashion shows and taken on a contemporary look herself (albeit more Mommy-like than Victoria Beckham's). And now she wants Tom Cruise to Beckham-up his look. A Cruise friend tells Life & Style Weekly:

Katie thinks Tom is the most handsome man she's ever met, but she wishes he'd dress a little younger and hipper."

The magazine reveals that Katie, 28, wants Tom, 45, to look as glamorous as the Beckhams', so he must bid farewell to over-sized suits and preppy cardigans. Katie has secured pal Victoria 'Posh' Beckham, who propelled her own fashion sensibilities, to make Tom's extreme makeover happen. The Cruise pal says:

Posh has the ultimate fashion sense, she's agreed to help Katie transform Tom."

Katie's first goal is to get Tom out of his classics and into more modern clothes. She also wants to help him get a bit leaner to suit his new style.

When Katie gets done with Tom, all the men's fashion magazines will be vying to put him on the covers!"

Well Victoria can certainly give him diet tips to get her borderline-anorexic body. Strawberries, sit-ups, edamame and peppermint tea!
