After spending much of the day flirting with the paparazzi and shopping, Lindsay Lohan hooked up with gal pal Samantha Ronson for a night out in Hollywood.

The partners in love and crime hit up a private house party for an eve of chit-chatting and elbow rubbing. The rumoured soon-to-be Mrs. and Mrs. Ronson arrived at the soiree at midnight and did not depart until almost sunrise.

So, what could be behind LiLo’s recent stint of late night partying? Her embarrassing excuses for parents are back in court again over allegations that her father Michael Lohan does not have enough access to his two youngest children, 14-year-old Ali and 11-year-old Dakota.

Lindsay managed to stay out of the legal mess as she’s of age, but that’s not to say she doesn’t have her own spate of legal battles to contend.
