Winona Ryder Adn Xanax Don't Mix

Winona Ryder has been given the all-clear by medics after falling ill on board a flight to London.

The 37-year-old actress's publicist said the star was in "good health", but refused to comment further on the nature of the health scare.

According to the Daily Mail, Ryder is thought to have collapsed twice on board the transatlantic BA flight after taking too many Xanax pills for anxiety.

A "priority landing" was required and the actress was rushed to hospital in West London immediately after the plane touched down at Heathrow yesterday lunchtime.

Ryder is known to be afraid of flying and it is suggested she took the tranquilisers to calm her nerves.
