BRITNEY SPEARS has been cleared of all allegations of child abuse in relation to her custody battle with ex-husband KEVIN FEDERLINE.
The pop star was under investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) concerning her parenting of Sean Preston, 23 months, and Jayden James, 11 months, after an anonymous complaint was filed with the authorities in July (07).

The court files alleged the children had poor dental hygiene and bad eating and sleeping habits, thanks to Spears’ parenting skills.
But Spears’ lawyer, Laura Wasser, announced on Tuesday (04Sep07) the child abuse claims are no longer an issue in the singer’s battle for custody of her two sons.

Wasser says, "It does not appear the county will pursue any action at this time." Neither party knows the identity of the person who filed the complaint, but Wasser adds, "I’m trying to find out." Spears and Federline’s divorce was finalised in July (07) with both parties agreeing to joint custody of the boys. However, Federline is now seeking full custody following Spears’ recent erratic behaviour.

TMZ has obtained documents from the Britney/K-Fed hearing last Monday, where it was revealed the popwreck rakes in an average of $737,868 a month.

K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, claims in a declaration filed last Monday that Britney "is clearly the 'monied party' in this case." Kaplan is asking Brit to front $50K for expenses in connection with the custody hearing, claiming his bill will be in excess of $40,000.

The documents reveal K-Fed is receiving $20K a month for spousal support but the payments end on November 15.

As we first reported last Monday, the documents reveal that the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is investigating Spears for allegedly neglecting her kids. The allegations -- poor dental hygiene, as well as poor eating and sleeping habits. The portions of the documents relating to DCFS have been totally redacted.

The heavily redacted docs include the names of the people who have been or are being subpoenaed in K-Fed's move to grab 70/30 custody -- Alli Sims, Promises Treatment Center, Dr. Betty Wyman (Brit's designated sober companion), Larry Rudolph (Spears' former manager), Daimon Shippen (former bodyguard), Shannon Funk (former assistant) and Christine Hallet (former nanny).

Sources connected with the custody battle between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline tell TMZ $$$$ may really be at the heart of the tussle over the kids.

As we first reported, K-Fed is going back to court asking for more custody of the kids. Federline just agreed to a 50/50 split. Then, he turned around almost immediately and filed papers asking for 70/30. So why such a sudden change of heart?

It's puzzling that Kevin is suddenly alarmed, given that he's had absolutely no contact with Spears for almost three months. In fact, we're told she's begging him to communicate because of parenting issues but he won't play ball.

That brings us to the paperwork Federline filed. Sources say there are declarations from Kevin, both of his lawyers, Kevin's nanny and a nanny who interviewed with Britney is October, 2006, before the couple separated. In the papers, Federline's lawyer also included various magazine articles about Britney. Legal experts say good luck getting that into evidence.

Alli Sims, Britney's cousin, was served over the weekend. Kevin's lawyer wants to take her deposition. Now here's what's telling. Federline's lawyer also wants to take Britney's depo, but a source connected with Alli says the deposition notice Britney received is all financial -- in other words, the references are all about money, not the kids.

So does K-Fed want more custody just so he can get more cash? A Federline source says it's all about the kids and not money. Federline wants Britney under oath talking about whether she drinks and how she parents the kids.

Oh, and by the way: Kev's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, is asking that Britney pay his legal fees for the hearing and preparation -- and that they're in the six figures.

Kevin arrived for on the set of 'The Night Watchman', which stars Keanu Reeves, after his manager forgot to tell him makers Fox Searchlight had dispensed with his services.

A source claimed: "He only had a very small role. However, he was fired from the film and his manager didn't tell him. Kevin found out when he turned up for a wardrobe call."

Reports previously suggested Kevin would be "starring opposite" Keanu in the 'The Night Watchman', but Fox Searchlight insist they never even cast him in the first place.

In the latest chapter of the Britney Spears and Kevin Federline divorce, KFed has taken things to a new level! Life & Style has learned exclusively that Kevin’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, initiated a commando-style raid in the dead of the night, at 3 a.m. this morning, to serve Alli Sims, Brit’s assistant/cousin, with papers!

At the time of serving, Alli was at an LA house party, and was "absolutely angry" about what was happening, says an eyewitness. Only a few hours earlier, Brit was having dinner in LA with two male friends, totally unaware of the unfolding drama.

Kevin Federline has filed an order to show cause for primary physical custody of his two sons with ex-wife, Britney Spears, according to a source.

The documents were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday by Federline's lawyer, according to the source.

Spears and Federline's divorce was finalized less than two weeks ago. At the time, the couple agreed to split custody 50-50 of Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 10 months.

But a source close to Federline told PEOPLE that the would-be-rapper was worried Spears was exposing the boys to "unnecessary risk" and that his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, "hopes to get Kevin primary custody."

In June, when the couple were wrangling over their divorce settlement, Federline was still resisting signing the papers over growing concerns about Spears' erratic behavior.

Spears, who spent a stint at Promises rehab center, has been a fixture on the nightclub and party scene. The news of Federline's request for primary custody comes as photos have surfaced of his ex-wife reportedly topless in a hotel pool.

Calls to Spears's lawyer were not immediately returned.

With Britney supposedly dating her bodyguard ala Whitney Houston/Kevin Costner's 'The Bodyguard', her ex, Kevin Federline has found true love again.

The aspiring rocker has been dating Los Angeles hip-hop radio personality Liz Hernandez, according to the National Enquirer.

“Kevin is definitely thrilled with Liz,” a source told the tab. “He talks about her all the time — how smart she is, how she’s marketed herself so well, and how beautiful she is. He’s serious about her.”

The two first met about 18 months ago when the aspiring rapper appeared on Hernandez’s radio show. In an exchange that caused a hubbub at the time, she asked Federline who was better in bed, Spears or his ex, Shar Jackson. Spears was said to be furious because he didn’t say her name immediately.

“Liz is trying to keep [the romance] quiet because she doesn’t want it to get around work, but Kevin can’t help but brag about his conquest to his friends and family,” the source told the Enquirer. “He has tons of modeling pictures of Liz in his home. She likes to cook, and Kevin loves that because he always did the cooking for both Shar and Britney,” says the source, who adds that Hernandez thinks Federline's two children by Spears are “adorable.”

K-Fed Wants More Money

K-Fed hasn't signed the divorce papers yet because he wants to add a clause about custody if he doesn't like the way Britney Spears is acting according to People. A source said, "Britney's attorneys are anxious to see Kevin sign off on a divorce. But Kevin and his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan are dragging their heels out of concern over reports of Britney's post-rehab partying." The source added that Kevin Federline, "wants to make sure that the divorce document makes it simple enough for Kevin to downsize Britney's access to her kids the next time her behavior troubles him."

It looks like he wants more money from Britney..... probably this trash has already spend all the money he got from the settlement on cheetos and Taco Bell.

God I hope this is not true but National Enquirer magazine is saying that Britney called Kevin and told him "I'm not divorcing you! I want my family back!"

Apparently K-Fed was stunned and suspected that Britney has been stalling the divorce because of second thoughts and was shocked when she told him she wanted him back.

KFed Is Running Low On Britney's Money

With a non-existing career and a possible gig working at McDonald's, Kevin Federline is reportedly trying to reconcile with Britney Spears......Kidding about McDonald's.

Apparently Brit Brit has confessed to one of her pals that she's having secret meetings and tearful late-night discussions with K-Fed and that their in the process of getting back together again.

"When she was on vacation she was in the best mood she's been in for ages, " an insider dished to NW magazine. "She confessed it was because she and Kevin are slowly moving towards getting back together. "

K-Fed and Shar had an agreement.... K-Fed was to marry Britney Spears, make her fall in love, give her babies, make her life miserable, then later on agree to a divorce with a settlement. If it is to be believe, Star magazine reports that Britney Spears' divorced settlement is around $13 million. What's more, Spears was reluctant to finalize the split.

“Do you really want to do this?” Spears asked K-Fed as the two met to discuss final details of their divorce, reports to the upcoming issue of the tab.

K-Fed said yes, and his estranged wife replied, “You’re the biggest mistake I’ve ever made, but thank you for my babies.”

The tabloid also claims that Federline led Spears to believe that the two would get together after she got out of rehab so because he wanted to encourage her to stay in the treatment center.

Among the details, according to the tab:

- A 2004 pre-nup called for K-Fed to get $250,000 for each year of their marriage, but Spears upped that figure to $500,000 to speed up the negotiations.

- He receives half the proceeds from their Malibu mansion, which is on the market for $13.5 million.

- $25,000 a month in child support for each of the couple’s two children until they reach 18. He also gets custody of the boys four days a week.

- Federline gets to keep all the gifts Spears bought them during their marriage.

- He’s forbidden from writing a tell-all about their marriage.

Okay not really....

The only thing happy these days about Britney Spears are the Happy Meals she's picking up from Mickey D's.

Sources tell TMZ that Britney has been trying to phone former flame Justin Timberlake, but he's not taking her calls -- and, as TMZ recently reported, JT isn't keen on any love rematch. We're also told that when JT's ex, Cameron Diaz, got wind of the calls, she didn't like it one bit -- and has tried to get through to Britney's people to ask her to stop calling her old boy.

Over the weekend, the long lens of the paparazzi caught Britney engaged in two of her favorite pastimes -- carrying several small objects in her hands without the aid of a bag, and eating McDonald's food. The mother of two was spotted going into a Hollywood recording studio with cigs, Red Bull, CD, etc., and then she pulled up to the Golden Arches after the session for a healthy repast.

No word if K-Fed was manning the drive-thru.

Britney Spears’s friends believe that the baby-popping singer may be pregnant again, according to In Touch Weekly.

The friends’ concern may help to explain why Spears seems not to have lost any of her pregnancy weight and why she has been getting sick lately. In one widely circulated photo, Spears was shown throwing up peanut butter and reports said she had been drinking, but according to ITW, Spears has been skipping the booze. “Her dancers were indulging in Malibu rum and pineapple drinks and taking shots of vodka,” a witness to a January 14 party at a Las Vegas casino told the mag. “But Britney drank bottled water.” Spears gave birth to her second child only four months ago — but friends point out that she got pregnant for the second time only three months after having her first child.

“I’ve seen her during the last two pregnancies and she has the same look now,” a “pal who sees Britney every week” told the mag. “She’s heavier, but that’s not it. It’s the sparkle in her eye. She always gets that sparkle when she’s pregnant, like she’s relaxed and happy.”

Spears’s rep didn’t return the Scoop’s calls for comment.

Social Climber Sighted In Slovenia

Heather Mills took 40 friends and family on a skiing holiday to help celebrate her 39th birthday on Friday - but it was far from a lavish affair.

Despite expecting a multi-million pound divorce settlement, Heather flew the party to Slovenia in economy class on a scheduled flight and stayed in a £27-a-night hotel. The group, including Heather’s fitness instructor Ben Amigoni, then had to travel for two hours from their hotel to find slopes to ski on due to a mild winter.

An onlooker at the hotel told the Sun: “It was a shock to see her somewhere so cheap. She could easily afford the best resorts.”

Fan Pressure For Nicole Kidman

American fans of actress Nicole Kidman are calling for the Aussie beauty to dump her country singer husband Keith Urban amid reports he cheated on her. The singer, who is currently battling alcoholism, is rumored to have dated model Kimberly Wyatt while he was engaged to Kidman - a charge he has denied.

BRITNEY SPEARS broke down in tears during a Christmas Day phone chat with her estranged husband KEVIN FEDERLINE, according to US reports.

Federline called to speak to wish the couple's sons, SEAN PRESTON and JAYDEN JAMES, a Merry Christmas, but Spears couldn't resist the temptation to have a private conversation with her ex.

And friends claim Spears became so emotional at one point, she burst into tears and told Federline how much she missed him.

One pal tells American publication Life & Style, "She told Kevin the holidays were hard and talking to him made things harder because she missed him.

"She was depressed over the holidays. At first, it was liberating for her to be free and single. But now she's in this big new house in Beverly Hills, and it's really lonely.

Guess Who Tried To Hangout With Lindsay?

Kevin Federline doesn’t waste time. On December 22, less than a month after ex Britney Spears partied with Lindsay Lohan, the aspiring rapper, 28, texted the actress, 20, suggesting, “We should hang out.”

But, as reported in the new issue of Us Weekly, the invite went over about as well as K-Fed's debut album.

“She was totally grossed out,” a Lohan pal tells Us.

Says another, “She thought it was hilarious.”

However, Federline, didn’t appreciate Lohan’s “Why would I hang out with you?” reply.

He fired back, calling her a "firecrotch."

Says the source, “She couldn’t believe he was so pathetic. She doesn’t want him using her to make Britney jealous.”

Both in Miami to ring in 2007, Lohan avoided Federline at Mansion nightclub on New Year’s Eve, where Federline kissed a mystery blonde named Rebecca at midnight.
