Guess Who's A Big Tipper?

The waiter who received a $4000 tip from Johnny Depp has told RadarOnline.com about his night with the superstar!

Mohammed A . Sekhani -- a veteran waiter at Chicago's legendary steakhouse Gibsons -- told RadarOnline.com: “Johnny and his party arrived just after 11.30pm at the restaurant and requested a private room. He had visited our restaurant several times before while he was filming Public Enemies and he promised me that he would return after the premiere."

Sekhani says Depp and his party ordered appetizers like shrimp cocktails while they prepared his favorite dish Clams Casino – which is clams baked with garlic, pepper and cheese.

Said Sekhani : “He also ordered some $500 bottles of Italian wine and he was in good spirits throughout the evening chatting with Mr Mann and Miss Cotillard. I have worked with a lot of stars like Sean Connery and Robert De Niro but Johnny Depp is my favorite. He is a very soft spoken guy who is very charming and sweet – when I wait for him he doesn’t like to be too fussed over and is not in any way demanding. "

It's not the first time Sekhani has waited on Depp. “Because he had visited us before he calls me ‘Mo’ and I know exactly the way he likes to be treated. He may be one of the most famous actors in the world but he is a very ‘humble guy’ and a really cool dude. Obviously, I was delighted with his tip but he has always been very generous every time that he has visited us here at Gibsons. When the party left around 2.30am he smiled and told me that he would return – they were a great group of people.”

Johnny Depp Is Getting Married

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis will marry in April.

The couple - who have been together for 10 years and have two children, Lily-Rose, nine, and six-year-old Jack, together - are planning to tie the knot in a chapel on the grounds of their $1.25 million French estate.

A source said: "They're a very private couple. It's no surprise they'd want to celebrate at their home."

Johnny, 45, sparked rumors he was set to propose to Vanessa last month when he was seen shopping for an engagement ring in California.

The pair are keen to keep the ceremony as intimate as possible, and will only invite 50 of their closest friends and family.

Director Tim Burton is expected to act as best man, while Rolling Stones rocker Keith Richards is also due to attend.

This Almost Brought Me To Tears....

Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law have donated their earnings from new movie 'The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus' to Heath Ledger's daughter Matilda.

The actors - who replaced Heath following his death from an accidental prescription drugs overdose in January - wanted to give their money to Heath's two-year-old child with actress Michelle Williams to ensure she has a secure future.

The movie's director Terry Gilliam said: "The three actors were totally heroic coming in. This doesn't happen very often - where there's a tragedy like this, and very famous, very successful actors suddenly say, 'OK, we'll do whatever it takes to help.'

"They came, they did the work, they allowed the movie to be finished, they didn't take money - the money goes to Heath's daughter. That's extraordinary!

"I am so glad these guys are so humble. That's why they make a great addition to the film. It will be bittersweet seeing this movie knowing he was filming it only days before he died. This picture still hurts to see because as we all know he did die a couple of days after this picture was taken. My thoughts will always be with Heath."

Johnny, Colin and Jude will all play Heath's character Tony as he is transported into three separate dimensions, which he accesses via a paranormal mirror belonging to a travelling theatre troupe.

Guess Who Might Be The Next Villain In "Batman"

'The Dark Knight' has performed so well at the box office that producers are already working on casting the next instalment of the Batman story, once again to be directed by Christopher Nolan. In a frankly inspired piece of casting it is rumoured that they will be approaching Johnny Depp to play the role of the Riddler and attempt to breathe life into a character hammed to death by Jim Carrey in the truly awful 'Batman Forever'.

Johnny's a lovely man so hopefully he won't prepare for the role in the same way as Heath Ledger did for the Joker (by seemingly going a bit dotty then dying). If this comes off it might be the first time the audience is cheering for the Riddler to give Batman a truly historic hammering.

Depp is no stranger to odd characters. He played Willy Wonka, Edward Scissorhands and used to knob Kate Moss, but there's another fine piece of casting in the wings. The Penguin (last played by Danny DeVito – and looking more like a dead dinner lady than a super-villain) is going to be played by Philip Seymour Hoffman, so goes the rumour.

Who else in the world could bring the awkwardness, the air of menace and the gallons of sweat to the role better than Hoffman? All it needs now is Angelina Jolie as a naked Catwoman and I'll start camping outside the cinema now.

Johnny, Colin And Jude To Play Heath's Final Role

Work on Heath Ledger's last film, suspended due to his death by accidental overdose in January, has resumed after three Hollywood stars agreed to play his character, director Terry Gilliam said on Monday.
Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law will step in to complete Ledger's unfinished role in the movie "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" which is due for release next year.

"Since the format of the story allows for the preservation of his entire performance, at no point will Heath's work be modified or altered through the use of digital technology," said the film's producers in a statement.

"Each of the parts played by Johnny, Colin and Jude is representative of the many aspects of the character that Heath was playing."

Gilliam said filming on the British-Canadian production had resumed in Vancouver "with the blessing and support of Heath Ledger's family."

Ledger had just finished shooting scenes for the movie in London before his death. Newspapers have reported that the story involves a magical mirror that takes people into different dimensions, allowing Gilliam to switch between actors.

"I am delighted that Heath's brilliant performance can be shared with the world," Gilliam said.

"We are looking forward to finishing the movie and, through the film, with a modicum of humility, being able to touch people's hearts and souls as Heath was able to do."

"The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" is described as a modern-day fantasy adventure and has a budget estimated at $30 million.

Metrosexual Or Just Plain Homosexual?

Starpulsecame up with 10 allegedly metrosexual celebs..... some I would yes and some I just think they're just plain gay acting straight.... so anyways, here's the list:

Zac Efron: Quick - name a movie where Zac Efron doesn’t play a pretty boy who sings to the girl of his affection. Bet you couldn’t think of one. Oh, and have you seen that hair? A normal man can’t do that with his hair. I’ve tried, for hours. Are they Kidding?????

Ryan Seacrest: He has to bleach his teeth at least once a day. Though I suppose when your talent is hosting things, the prettier you look, the easier it is to distract the audience from the real talent. Does he still frost his hair? Are they Kidding?????

Jake Gyllenhaal: He was manlier in Brokeback Mountain than he is in real life. Gyllenhaal has that brooding theater guy look who you know ignored the girls in high school to learn lines for the spring drama production. Now he’s all grown up and became the man theater guys aspire to become - talented, deep, and good looking. You don’t think that persona comes naturally. It takes years of practice and hours of work each morning. Trust me. Are they Kidding?????

Ashton Kutcher: Have you seen the commercial for the new ABC show he’s producing? He’s basically strutting down a hallway like a model on the runway. Kutcher is all about the hair, which is probably how he landed Demi Moore. Say what you will about the masculinity of a metro guy, he landed the queen of all cougars!

Orlando Bloom: He hit it big playing an elven archer and from then on showed the world just how conditioned curly brown locks could be. To this day there are fights about who is prettier in the “Pirates” movies, Bloom or Johnny Depp. I’m actually thinking of writing my doctoral thesis on this debate.

Hugh Jackman: The odd thing about Jackman is that he is known for playing Wolverine, a beer swilling man’s man who would stab any man who looked at him sideways. Then you see him in interviews or in his role as Peter Allen in “Boy from Oz” on Broadway. Sorry Hugh, you’re not fooling anyone, we know you spend your grooming time singing, and singing really well for that matter.

Ryan Reynolds: From a pretty boy on Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place to Van Wilder to Hannibal King in Blade, Ryan Reynolds just can’t escape his naturally soft and feminine look. Maybe it’s that sweet funny guy attitude, or the fact that his hair is permanently in that messy-spiky style. Or the fact that even buffed up with facial hair Ryan Reynolds never looks like he worked a day in his life.

Brad Pitt: When he isn’t adopting kids with his life partner, Pitt makes a living having impossibly rock-hard abs and a chiseled face for a man of his years (He’s 45!). Oh, and did you see him in Fight Club? Suddenly underground fighting became a spectator sport for a whole different set of reasons.

Johnny Depp: Whenever you see him on the red carpet, Depp seems to be a hybrid of the metrosexual and the homeless man. He’s trying to hide his pretty boy nature with weird facial hair, but you know he spends at least two hours on it each morning. And for that Johnny, you’ll always be a beacon of the metro lifestyle. Oh, and Jack Sparrow, enough said.

David Beckham: How does he even have time to be a soccer star when he spends most of his day trying to look prettier than Posh Spice? He is pretty much the quintessential metro guy, and most women and a bunch of men aren’t complaining about that. Yes... my David is the ultimate metrosexual!!!!

Johnny Depp To Finally Marry

Johnny Depp has reportedly proposed to his longterm girlfriend VANESSA PARADIS - an action allegedly inspired by their seven-year-old daughter's terrifying illness earlier this year (07).

Lily-Rose was rushed to a London hospital in March after contracting the E.coli bacteria, which caused her kidneys to shut down. Filming on Depp's latest movie Sweeney Todd was halted so he could keep a vigil at the youngster's bedside with Paradis.

But now little Lily is back to full health, The Pirates Of The Caribbean star wants to make his relationship with Paradis official, and plans to wed his partner of eight years this summer in the small French village of Plan de la Tour, near St Tropez, according to media reports.

A source from their village in France said that the couple has one of "the strongest relationships in Hollywood but after their daughter was taken ill the family became an even closer-knit unit."

Johnny Depp The Good Father

Johnny Depp refuses to go back to work until his sick little girl is fully recovered.

The actor has vowed to keep a vigil by his daughter Lily-Rose's bedside until she is given the all-clear, meaning shooting for 'Sweeney Todd', has been put on hold indefinitely.

Lily-Rose was admitted to a London hospital two weeks ago, reportedly suffering from blood poisoning after stepping on a rusty nail.

Johnny, 43, collected his seven-year-old daughter from hospital last Thursday (08.03.07) and took her to the London hotel where he is staying with his family.

DreamWorks staff have been told that unless Johnny returns to the set at Pinewood Studios this weekend they could find themselves temporarily out of work.

A film source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Johnny does not want to come back until Lily-Rose gets the all-clear. The plan is to re-employ everybody when she is better."

Johnny Depp To Play Mercury?

Queen guitarist Brian May is backing Johnny Depp to play late frontman Freddie Mercury in an upcoming biopic. May says, "Discussions are at an early stage. Johnny Depp is fantastic. He would be a worthy counterpart for Freddie on screen."

The surviving members of the band - May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon - are all involved in the project which will tell the life story of the singer, who died of an AIDS-related illness in 1991.

Gayness Of Golden Globe

OK, so it wasn’t a total wash, but this year’s Golden Globe nominations are several shades less pink than last year’s (which is only natural, given that last year’s contenders included Brokeback Mountain and Capote). Still there were some gay glimmers on the horizon. Out 100 2006 honoree Sarah Paulson was nominated for her role on TV’s Studio 60, which probably marks the first time a gay person has been nominated for playing a conservative Christian. Judi Dench got a nod for her lesbianesque role in Notes on a Scandal, and Chiwetel Ejiofor got a surprise supporting nom for his drag-a-licious part in the sleeper comedy Kinky Boots. Gay faves Dreamgirls (along with its stars BeyoncĂ©, Jennifer Hudson, and Eddie Murphy) got nominations, as did the gay-inclusive flicks The Devil Wears Prada and Little Miss Sunshine. On the TV front, Desperate Housewives (along with stars Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman) and Ugly Betty were standouts. But perhaps the gayest nomination of all goes to our favorite eyeliner-wearing pirate, Johnny Depp, for his turn in the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel.

Depp's Now A Divo?

Johnny Depp has received a £20,000 makeover on his trailer on the set of his new film, Sweeney Todd.

According to The Mirror, Depp demanded that his trailer be decorated in a Moroccan style and the producers at Pinewood Studios were happy to oblige.

The trailer was decked out with Moroccan drapes, a number of sheesha pipes and lit by dozens of candles.

A source told the newspaper, "There were a few raised eyebrows when producers heard his trailer demands...But no expense has been spared with the best quality drapes we could find, the pipes and a selection of flavoured tobacco for them."

But the source added: "We were worried after the trailer requests that he may be a bit of a diva but he is really laid back and chilled."

The musical film is being directed by Tim Burton who has worked with Depp on a series of other films including Edward Scissorhands and Ed Wood.

No More Pirates: Kiera Knightley

Johnny Depp has no qualm about playing Captain Jack Sparrow in yet another movie as long as the script is up to par but Keira Knightley is done with it.

Keira Knightley said: "I've been playing this girl since I was 17. I'm 21 now and I'm on to very different things."

Well okay, I do agree with her somewhat.... I mean I wasn't crazy about the last Pirate movie and somehow I feel like it's starting to get a bit boring. So jumping ship might be a good idea for Kiera.

She is quite talented and beautiful and should venture out and do other movies that's a bit less commercialized.

But then again, this is just my opinion.
