Lachey To Marry Vanessa

Los Angeles (eCanadaNow) - Nick Lachey has called ex-wife Jessica Simpson to tell her he is getting married again.

The singer, who is planning to marry new girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, spent 40 minutes on the phone breaking the news to his ex-wife before she heard it through the grapevine.


According to the National Ledger website, Nick told Jessica: “I’m getting married again Jess and I wanted you to hear it from me.”

The former 98 Degrees singer is allegedly hoping to wed by the end of the year.


Despite being the first to file for divorce, Jessica is said to have reacted badly to the news.

A source said: “She knew Nick and Vanessa were serious, but this threw her. She did her best to contain her emotions.”

The ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ actress has been linked to pop singer John Mayer since her divorce - which was finalised this year - but recently rubbished the rumours insisting she is single.
