Nicole Richie Arrest Records

Here's the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department booking sheet memorializing this morning's arrest of Nicole Richie for suspicion of driving under the influence. The "Simple Life" star, 25, was nabbed at 1:45 AM by California Highway Patrol officers on a Burbank freeway after she was spotted driving erratically. After posting $15,000 bail, Richie (who's listed as 5'1" and 85 pounds) was released from custody and is scheduled for a Tuesday Municipal Court appearance on the misdemeanor charge. She was previously arrested in February 2003 for heroin possession. Back then, the sheriff listed Richie as one inch taller and five pounds heavier. Oh, and in the intervening years her race has apparently changed from white to black. Richie is pictured at right in a mug shot snapped this morning at the Glendale Police Department, where she was booked.

Robert Altman, 81, director for such classics as M*A*S*H, The Player and Gosford Park died Monday night at a Los Angeles Hospital. The cause of death was not disclosed as of the moment.

Is Miss Lohan A Victim Of Self Harm?

LINDSAY Lohan sports scars on her left wrist — fuelling fears the Hollywood wild child has fallen victim to self harm.

The scratches — and what looked like a figure-of-eight burn on her right forearm — were revealed as the 20-year-old starlet left a showbiz bash MINUS the bandages and wristbands she has taken to wearing in recent weeks.

Shocked experts last night said the gouges bore all the hallmarks of a condition that afflicts increasing numbers of youngsters.

Mean Girls star Lindsay, who has battled anorexia and admits to taking drugs, also wore a plaster on a right finger at the party — which followed the World Music Awards on Wednesday at London’s Earls Court.

Lindsay has told in the past how she feared she would die after years of punishing her frail body. She recently confessed to having “hit rock bottom”. Last July she was taken to hospital while shooting her latest film Georgia Rules.

Lindsay admitted her eating disorder had returned to plague her, saying: “I was making myself sick. Sometimes being that thin doesn’t look healthy. I kind of didn’t realise that.”

The beauty, whose ex-lovers include Bruce Willis and Leonardo DiCaprio, added: “One time when someone asked me if I was OK I just started bawling.

“I knew I had a problem and just could not admit it. My arms were disgusting. I had no arms. I had people sit me down and say, ‘You’re going to die if you don’t take care of yourself’.”

Yet Another "Irreconcilable Differences"

Nearly two weeks after Reese Witherspoon announced her separation from Ryan Phillippe, the actress has filed for divorce. In Wednesday's filing, Witherspoon cites "irreconcilable differences" and seeks physical custody of the couple's two children — 7-year-old Ava and 3-year-old Deacon.

Witherspoon, 30, also seeks visitation for Phillippe, 32, and "exclusive use of the family residence." Witherspoon also asked for the court to terminate its ability to award spousal support to Phillippe.

I feel bad for this couple. They are so like perfect thus I won't be nasty, not that I have been mostly.

Ahhh... New Yorker's Life

For the past 3 nights now, I've been waking up at around 330am.... that's when the heater in my rent-controlled building kicks in. For the last 10 years or so, I never had any problems in my bedroom that needs repairing until now.

So anyways, I never thought drops of water can be so annoying until recently. The drip is coming from a possible broken pipe where the steam comes from for the heater. So yesterday, I decided to leave office on time (again) to remedy this dripping and hopefully get a good night sleep.

After a couple of ideas, I opted to have the water run thru a blue tape instead of dripping and turn the heater off in my bedroom. And it worked!!!! Well, I think it did but then again it rained the entire night so I can't really say plus also I did turn off the heater. But whatever.

Now I'm just waiting for the plumber to call me back which I'm not really looking forward. It means I have to take a day-off so they can fix the leak and so not looking forward to the mess they'll leave behind plus I need to repaint the wall again.

Madonna brought her kids to the US not because she promoting her book, well, not solely, but because Madonna's dad, Tony Ciccone, is sick.

The family pal said: “Madonna is keen to introduce David to his grandad — although the circumstances are less than ideal.

“He has been diagnosed with colon cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy.

A family source tells me that Tony is not in immediate trouble and his treatment is going well.

But, clearly, this is a serious illness and Madonna is keen for her kids to meet Tony while he is in relatively good form.

K-Fed Has Enough Money

The Spears are in NYC and yes to promote Mr. Spears album. In an interview with PEOPLE, Mr. Spears said that he makes music because he loves it. He also said said that it's not for the money citing he has enough money.

Well Saturday was his big concert at Webster hall and as DListed mentioned, there was roughly about 300 people.... who knew he had such great followings. Yes the said shindig was not exactly a success and Mrs. Spears was nowhere in site. Probably embarrassed considering he had to big-time begged the establishment not to cancel his concert, it was reported.

Speaking of Mrs. Spears, she made a surprise visit on David Letterman last night. She was sporting a blonde bob and a short black dress showing off her new shape.

"Oh, my god," he exclaimed, standing up to shake her hand and plant a kiss behind her ear. "Hi, how are you? Nice to see you. Oh, you look wonderful."

She didn't stay long.... I guess she was testing how the audience would react to her new look.

Ryan - Reese Rumor Galore

As expected, the Ryan-Reese break-up is now a hot topic and damn, the rumors are all over the place.

01) It was reported that Ryan was having an affair with a Canadian waitress while he was in Vancouver filming. The affair continued even after he left.

02) While in Austin reecently, Ryan was spotted making out at a restaurant with a blonde chick.

03) It was also rumored that Ryan is hetero-flexible.

Okay people, enough is enough. I'm sure this is a very difficult time for the couple so can we give them a break for the time being while they sort things out? Like really, please.

The New York Times reports today that, in prepartion for the giant Google takeover (maybe you heard about it?), YouTube has started purging clips.

Ryan Phillipe Can Marry Me Now!!!

Okay this is a sad sad news considering them being the golden couple of Hollywood but...

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe have decided to go their separate ways, as per TMZ reported.

“We are saddened to announce that Reese & Ryan have decided to formally separate. They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time.”


Reese has already hired divorce attorney, Robert Kaufman. There has been no word on the split, but sources say it was a long time coming. There were rumors that Ryan was threatened by his wife’s career. The two recently came out as a couple on 10/17. They have been married seven years.
