James Bond Is Engaged

Daniel Craig has got engaged to girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell.

The James Bond star proposed to the American film producer during the filming of the latest 007 movie, 'Quantum of Solace', in Panama.

An on-set source said: "Satsuki visits during shooting every day. They are so loved-up. He asked her to marry him and she's been showing off a very beautiful Cartier ring. It has a large diamond solitaire with a platinum setting."

It is thought the couple - who met on the set of 2005 movie 'The Jacket' - will tie the knot when the movie wraps.

The source added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Daniel and Satsuki are now stronger than ever. They want an intimate ceremony."

Daniel recently proclaimed the secret behind his successful relationship is hard work.

He said: "Relationships don't take care of themselves. Romance is fine but it's not about expensive hotels and beautiful locations - it's about being with the right person and feeling close to them. Being in love takes a lot of work."

Daniel Craig Is $60 Million Richer

DANIEL CRAIG has signed a $60 million (£30 million) deal to star in a total of five JAMES BOND films, according to reports.
The blond 39-year-old is currently filming Bond 22 - his second outing as secret agent 007 following the success of 2006’s Casino Royale - and movie executives have reportedly signed him up for another three films, tying him to the franchise for the next 10 years.

A source says, "To date Daniel has been quite cautious over saying how many films he’d be starring in.

"It was presumed he’d probably do a couple more but the word is the new deal ensures he’ll do at least another four across the next decade." Craig’s predecessor, Pierce Brosnan, starred in four Bond movies - but the longest-serving 007 star remains to be Sir Roger Moore, who played the iconic role in seven films between 1973 and 1985.

Bond Girls Wannabes

Mischa Barton is a huge fan of the spy series and has issued a come and get me plea to the makers of the next 007 adventure, tentatively titled ‘Bond 22′.

She said: ‘I’d love to be a Bond girl!

‘I mean, what girl wouldn’t - it’s kind of like a dream.’ If Mischa gets her wish, she will follow in the footsteps of a host of screen beauties, including Halle Berry, Eva Green, Ursula Andress and Honor Blackman.

However, the 21-year-old actress faces some stiff competition from Juliette Lewis.

The ‘Natural Born Killers’ star recently revealed she wants to be a Bond girl and is convinced she could give any of the previous actresses a run for their money.

Feisty Juliette said: ‘Can you imagine me as a Bond girl? Just give me a sword and a bikini and I’m good to go.’ Another reason the actress-and-singer wants to star in a Bond film is because she has a crush on British actor Daniel Craig, the latest star to play the suave spy.

She added: ‘Daniel is a good actor and very easy on the eye so I’d love to say hello and give him a hand shake.’

Sienna Miller And Josh Harnett???

Sienna Miller and Josh Hartnett were spotted getting cosy at a Los Angeles hotel on Tuesday night (16.01.07).

The 'Factory Girl' actress and the 'Pearl Harbour' hunk were seen laughing and behaving intimately in the living-room area of Hollywood's Chateau Marmont hotel.

A source told People magazine: "They sat side-by-side on a couch laughing and chatting for about an hour.

"Then they were joined by a girlfriend of Sienna's but they kept flirting.

"Sienna stood in front of Josh while he was still sat down and he held onto her thigh."

The group eventually retired to the hotel's poolside to drink cocktails.

James Bond Like Nicole Kidman

JAMES BOND actor DANIEL CRAIG has lavished praise on new co-star NICOLE KIDMAN - insisting the Australian actress "turns me on".

Craig and Kidman co-star in two films being released this year (07), THE INVASION and THE DARK PROPHECIES, and the CASINO ROYALE star never tires of sharing the screen with the MOULIN ROUGE beauty.
Craig gushes, "Nicole turns me on. Not in a sordid, horrible way...well, come to think of it..." However, Kidman plays it cool, praising Craig for being "an actor's actor".

Sienna Miller Tired Of Older Guys

The 25-year-old actress - who romanced Jude Law, 34, and Daniel Craig, 38 - wants someone younger because her past lovers couldn't keep up with her.

She told Britain's First magazine: "They want a mature, sophisticated woman, who can look after them emotionally."

"But they also want me to be a sexy young girl at the time. I can't do both."

"Because I behave like a crazy young thing sometimes they can't keep up with me." Sienna's relationship with Jude ended in July 2005 when it emerged the 'Alfie' actor was having an affair with his children's nanny."

In October 2005, it was reported that Sienna had been having a simultaneous affair with Jude's friend Daniel Craig.
Jude and Sienna were briefly reunited in 2006, before confirming they had split for good."

While Sienna is considered one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood, she also insists fame hasn't changed her.

The 'Factory Girl' actress told Britain's Now magazine: "I don't have bodyguards or assistants. I just have my sister and the same strong group of girlfriends that I grew up with. I am the same person I always was.

"I do like going out, but I am also quite a homely girl."

"Casino Royale" Best Bond Ever

"Casino Royale" has shot past the worldwide record for a James Bond movie, thanks mostly to strong international performance over the Christmas holiday weekend.
Sony's "Casino" cashed in overseas with $14.5 million at 6,300 during the weekend through Sunday, lifting the foreign total to $304.4 million -- the 41st biggest international gross of all time. It's only the fourth 2006 pic to clear $300 million, joining "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," "The Da Vinci Code" and "Ice Age: The Meltdown."

With domestic gross near $144 million, "Casino" has a worldwide total of $448 million -- $17 million better than "Die Another Day," the previous best Bond performer. It opened solidly in South Korea with $2.3 million at 350.

"Casino" looks likely to tack on another $5 million internationally on Christmas Day, even though theaters will be closed in some markets such as the U.K.

Condom Maker Voted Daniel Craig World's Sexiest

Daniel Craig has been voted the world's sexiest man. The British actor topped the poll, conducted by condom maker Durex, after showing off his toned muscles in his first outing as James Bond in hit 007 adventure Casino Royale.

The combination of Daniel's piercing blue eyes and rippling physique as he emerges from the sea in tiny blue swimming trunks in the movie proved to be a major vote winner.

A Durex spokesman said: "Daniel Craig is an obvious choice. He has all the attributes that make a real icon."

The survey - which polled 4,000 women - saw British men outnumbering US stars eight-to-two in the top ten. Sin City actor Clive Owen finished as runner-up, while The Holiday star Jude Law came third.

Others to make it into the top 100 included screen icon Robert Redford and music mogul Simon Cowell.

World's Sexiest Man top ten:
1. Daniel Craig
2. Clive Owen
3. Jude Law
4. Steve Jones
5. George Clooney
6. Johnny Depp
7. David Beckham
8. Robbie Williams
9. Orlando Bloom
10. Pierce Brosnan

Okay, whatever..... Brad Pitt not in the top ten? This so bogus!!!

James Bond Loves The Gays

Seems Bond bombshell Daniel Craig is feeling the holiday spirit. In an effort to please gay fans, the British actor has requested that studio execs “modernize” the spy series by including homoerotic scenes and full-frontal nudity. “Why not? I think in this day and age, fans would have accepted it,” Craig apparently told ContactMusic.com. “I mean, look at [British TV series] Doctor Who—that has had gay scenes in it and no one blinks an eye.” You’ll have to wait for Casino Royale’s follow-up to see what Craig’s packin’, but you can sate yourself now with the current flick’s jaw-dropping torture scene, where a naked, sweat-soaked Bond is bound to a chair by one of the bad guys. Props to Danny for his big, um, heart.

The Hottest James Bond Ever?

Hot new James Bond Daniel Craig has received some stunning reviews for his performance in the just-opened Casino Royale. Like many critics, the U.K. Daily Mail’s Sarah Sands was particularly taken by a scene in which Craig is tied naked to a chair “about to have his testicles whipped with a length of rope by the villain.” Preparing to do his dastardly deed, the villain praises Bond’s impeccable body. “Who could argue,” writes Sands. “This film is an homage to the six-pack, a celebration of musculature. It will be enjoyed by everyone, but above all gym fetishists.” Sounds just up our alley.

Daniel Craig... The Grumpy James Bond

He has been dubbed the Blond Bond for his looks and then Premium Bond for his rave reviews - but at last night's Casino Royale premiere his stony demeanour made him seem more like his spy boss M... for Miserable.

Arriving at the Leicester Square showcase Craig was neither shaken nor stirred into a smile, and revealed he didn't care what his critics said about his performance, claiming: "Every day I just went out and did the best I could."

And his mood didn't lighten at the £250,000 after-show party at Mayfair's Berkeley Square. Craig, dressed in a regulation black tie outfit, said while he enjoyed the occasional vodka martini there was only so much of Bond's tipple of choice he could stomach. Instead, he made a beeline for the Guinness.

While guests including footballer Teddy Sheringham and his girlfriend, former Miss Great Britain Danielle Lloyd, gambled on the casino tables, Craig left the bash early.

Just after midnight he shed his bow tie, unbuttoned his shirt and left, grim-faced and clutching the arm of his 29-year-old girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell. Other celebrities partied on for another two hours.

In stark contrast to Craig's intense looks, the Queen glowed with excitement at the premiere.

She and Prince Philip were guests of honour at the screening and arrived in regal style - although, unusually, the windows o f their Bentley weren't tinted.

One security insider said: "She never uses a car with clear windows but tonight she could be seen telling her driver to slow down so she could do the royal wave to fans.

"And Prince Philip was sitting in the back seat like an over-excited child at the prospect of going to a Bond movie."

Queen to Attend Bond Premiere Tonite

The Queen (Not Elton John but the real one) and the Duke of Edinburgh are to attend the world premiere of the new James Bond film, Casino Royale.

The premiere will take place in London's Leicester Square tonite.

Oh dear, the traffic this will cause just to watch Daniel Craig. I wonder if the Queen has seen him in his movie "Love Is The Devil". Just wondering.

Casino Royale is Grand?

The first screening of Casino Royale has led to top reviews . So is new Bond Daniel Craig relieved?: "Not sure that's the right word. When the criticisms started coming through I was always going just wait and see the movie."

I guess we can all go out and see the new Bond film...... okay, people will either love it or hate it. That's just how things are, hopefully, if they hate it it's not because of Daniel Craig, but the chance of that might be minimal.
